Educational Qualification required for United India Insurance Recruitment
Educational qualification for various disciplines is as follows:
i) Risk Management – B.E./B.Tech. in any discipline with min 60% (55% for SC/ST) and
Post Graduation in Risk Management / PGDM in Risk Management (or) M.E./MTech in any discipline and Post Graduation in Risk Management / PGDM in Risk Management.
ii) Finance and Investment – Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) or
B.Com. with 60% marks (55% for SC / ST category) from a recognized University or M.Com. from a recognized University.
iii) Automobile Engineers – B.E./B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering with min 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University or M.E./M.Tech in Automobile Engineering from a recognized University.
iv) Chemical Engineers or Mechatronics Engineers – B.Tech. / B.E (Mechatronics/ Chemical Engg) with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category) from a recognized University or M.Tech. / ME (Mechatronics/ Chemical Engg) .
v) Data Analytical Specialists – B.E/B.Tech in Computer science/Computer applications/IT /Graduate in Statistics/Data Science/Actuarial science with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category) from a recognized University or MCA /Post graduate in Statistics or Data Science or Actuarial Science/ M.E/M.Tech in Computer science/IT from a recognized university.
Knowledge of Power BI/Power query/ RDBMS is preferred.
vi) Legal – Bachelor Degree in law with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category) from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government or Master degree in law from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government. [3 Years’ experience as a practicing lawyer (2 years for SC /
ST Candidates) is preferable]. The candidate must be registered with Bar Council of India.
vii) Generalists – The minimum Educational Qualification required is Graduate Degree/Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST Category) in either of the degree examination.
Age & Age relaxation
United India Insurance Company mentioned in it’s official notification that, a candidate must be of the Minimum Age of 21 years and the Maximum Age of 30 years as on 30.09.2024. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.10.1994 and not later than 30.09.2003 (both days inclusive).
Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates 5 years, OBC candidates 3 years, PwBD candidates 10years, Ex-servicemen 5 years, Defence service personnel 3 years, Widows or Divorced women 9 years, Existing Confirmed Employees of Public Sector General Insurance
Companies 8 years.
Application Fee for United India Insurance Recruitment
All Applicants other than SC / ST / PwBD, Permanent Employees of PSGI COMPANIES has to pay rs.1000/- (Application fee including service charges + GST as applicable).
SC / ST / Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Permanent Employees of PSGI companies has to pay Rs.250/- (service charges only ) + GST as applicable.
Selection Process for United India Insurance Recruitment
The selection for all disciplines will be made on the basis of overall performance in Online
Examination and Interview.
The candidates will be called for Online Examination which would comprise of the following.
i) online exam- Specialists
iii) Descriptive Test (Both Generalists and Specialists) : The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes
duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing-10 marks &
Essay-20 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through online mode. Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score for each section of
objective test separately for short listing for the Descriptive test evaluation.
Descriptive answer script would be evaluated only in respect of those candidates who
qualify the objective test.

Candidates can apply online only from 15/10/2024 to 05/11/2024 (Both days inclusive) and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Emoluments and Benefits
Basic pay in the scale of Rs. 50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765 and other admissible
allowances as applicable. Besides emoluments, other benefits like Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) and National Pension System (NPS), leased accommodation would be extended as per rules of the Company. Gross pay will be Rs.88,000/- p.m. (approx.) at Metropolitan centers.
