Qualification for the post of Assistant Director of Agriculture 2023, Department of Agriculture Govt. of West Bengal
Qualification required bachelor degree in agriculture with four years degree course from a recognised University /Institution. knowledge of agricultural condition in West Bengal and ability to read, write and speak in Bengali is an essential but not mandatory in case of candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali unless specifically mentioned. Such ability will be tested at the time of interview.
Salary for the post of Assistant Director of Agriculture 2023, Department of Agriculture Govt. of West Bengal
Salary will be (Rs.56100/- to Rs.1,44,300/-) as pay level -16 as per WPS (ROPA) Rules , 2019.

- Fees: application fee Rs.210/- (Rupees two hundred and ten only) for candidates belongs to UR category. Other admissible bank charges will be deducted as per banking rules.

OBC candidates of West Bengal however required to pay Rs.210/- i.e. usual fee as aforesaid. SC/ST/OBC candidates belongs to other state rather than West Bengal will treated as UR category & have to pay usual fee i.e. Rs.210/-.
