AGE REQUIRED FOR SBI APPRENTICE 2023 :
Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.08.2023 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1995 and not later than 01.08.2003 (both days inclusive). Maximum age indicated is for unreserved and EWS candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
Use of Scribe & compensatory time:
The facility of scribe would be allowed to a person who has disability of 40% or more. Such candidates who are eligible to use a scribe shall be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination whether availing the facility of scribe or not.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION as on 01.08.2023 FOR SBI APPRENTICE 2023 :
Graduation from a recognized University/ Institute.
DURATION OF TRAINING:
Duration of training is of one year.
STIPEND/ BENEFIT ALLOTTED FOR SBI APPRENTICE 2023 :
The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.
WEIGHTAGE/RELAXATION IN RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR ASSOCIATES:
Weightage / Relaxation to apprentices in recruitment of Junior associates shall be given as per recruitment policy of the bank as amended from time to time. Weightage / Relaxation in recruitment of Junior Associates will be given to the apprentices who will successfully complete the Apprenticeship training in our Bank and subject to candidate’s satisfactory conduct and performance during the entire training period. Successful completion of Apprenticeship training refers to passing of skill evaluation test (Trade test) and Obtention of joint National Apprenticeship Certificate jointly issued by SBI-NSDC / BFSI-SSC .
SELECTION PROCESS OF SBI APPRENTICE 2023 :
Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of (i) online written test and (ii) test of local language.
The structure of online written examination (online objective type) would be as follows.

Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu , Urdu in addition to English and Hindi Language as per Table appended below .

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
NOTE: Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in the ‘Acquaint Yourself’ booklet, which will be made available for download to the eligible candidates along with the call letter for the test.
- The online examination will be held in October / November (Tentatively).
• The candidates shall carry proper identity proof with him/her while appearing for the examination.
• Results of the candidates who have provisionally qualified for selection will be made available on the Bank’s website.
Final Selection will be subject to:
a) Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application
b) Qualifying in test of specified opted local language, where applicable, as detailed above.
c) Qualification in the Medical examination.
WAITING LIST OF SBI APPRENTICE 2023 :
A Wait list (State-category wise) will be maintained for one year from the date of result of the engagement of apprentices or next engagement exercise, whichever is earlier. Candidates will be released only once from this waitlist against non-joining subject to availability of qualified candidates.
JOB PROFILE OF SBI APPRENTICE 2023 :
Apprentice. This is not an employment in the Bank. Nor the same is contract employment. Please note that the candidates engaged as Apprentice will NOT be treated as “employees” of the SBI and will not be entitled to receive any benefits which are available for the employees of the Bank

CALL LETTERS FOR EXAMINATION:
